you are not broken. And it was never “all in your head.”
The problem isn’t a lack of willpower, or a mystery no one can solve.
The problem is that your gut, brain, hormones, blood sugar, and nervous system have been treated like separate systems instead of one connected story.
When I look at those systems together, the patterns become clear.
I help women connect the dots, uncover what’s driving their symptoms, and build a personalized roadmap that supports lasting health, not just temporary symptom relief.
But what truly shapes my work is the belief that every woman deserves to understand what’s happening in her body.
I don’t believe in handing out generic protocols.
I believe in helping you find and connect the missing pieces, so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
Because when you understand your body, everything changes.
Most women with ADHD have been told that their brain is the problem. Or that it’s simply a chemical imbalance, purely genetic and only solvable with medication.
I’ve spent 15 years discovering that ADHD is a multi system issue, and it starts with feeding your brain.
Understanding how nutrition, hormones, and gut health influence the ADHD brain can make a meaningful difference in how you feel and function each day.
And for many women, ADHD symptoms become harder to manage during perimenopause, when shifts in hormones, sleep, blood sugar, and stress can affect focus, mood, energy, and emotional regulation.
Whether you’re leading a business, raising a family, caring for others, or simply trying to keep up with everyday life, your health influences everything.
These symptoms are not isolated. They are signals.
This is where real healing begins: not by chasing every symptom, but by understanding the systems behind them.
And it is deeply connected to how your gut, hormones, blood sugar, and nervous system are functioning beneath the surface, especially during seasons like perimenopause, when shifts in hormones, sleep, stress, and blood sugar can make everything feel harder to regulate.
When those systems are overwhelmed or under-supported, you may feel anxious, foggy, reactive, exhausted, unmotivated, or unlike yourself.
But when your body and brain are connected, understood, and supported, you don’t just feel better.
“Real healing begins when we stop treating your symptoms like separate problems and start understanding the patterns underneath them.”

“In December of 2014 I suffered a traumatic brain injury from a fall and spent almost three weeks in the hospital before I was allowed to return home. I was able to recover physically, but the mental part that dealt with anxiety and anger was not getting any better… It was then that I was introduced to Miranda Meyer. Instead of just telling me why I could or could not eat certain foods, she explained the detox portion of the program and how healing my stomach lining would help me in this process. The knowledge she possessed blew me away and proved to be a huge part in my recovery. After my first few sessions, I was all in. The professionalism, knowledge and caring treatment I received broke down a barrier that I could not cross alone and gave me my life back.”
“When I came to Miranda’s office, I had been ill for 8 years and felt this appointment was my last hope. As Miranda and I discussed my case, I began to feel hope for the first time. Her approach was very different than the 8 other holistic doctors and nutritionists I had been treated by prior to her. I had worsened from each of their health programs. As we began to implement Miranda’s plan I began to experience increased hours of sleep, renewed strength with ability for physical exercise, regained cognitive abilities, and enjoy social interactions with friends and family. After several months of her thoughtful care and health strategies based on my blood work, symptoms, and past history and her patient listening to my great concerns, I truly got my life back. I continue to work with Miranda on fine tuning my diet, gut health, and hormones. I continue to experience increased health vitality! I am so grateful for her as a thoughtful and kind person that listens to me as well as her superb expertise that has given me the joy to live again!”
“I met Miranda in a community, sitting next to her, right at the moment I was realizing I needed help. I thought I was dealing with postpartum hormones. The brain fog was so bad I genuinely thought I was losing my mind. What we found was that everything was depleted. Minerals low, cortisol low, hormones completely out of whack. I'd been in a burnout state for something like six years, living in fight or flight since a trauma I never really came down from. No wonder I felt the way I felt. On top of that, I've had chronic migraines for six years. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to figure them out - neurology, chiropractor, acupuncture, psychedelics, hypnosis. No one ever suggested looking at my gut.
Miranda found an H. pylori infection that I’ve probably had for years. That one thing likely explains the exacerbated brain fog, the migraines, and why I can’t eat at a restaurant without paying for it later. We've been rebuilding since. Not patching symptoms, actually addressing what's underneath, with real lifestyle changes attached. I started strength training and I've been at it five days a week for 7 months. I'm in the best shape of my life. I sleep better than I’ve ever slept. The migraines have improved. I know what my body can handle now, and my options keep expanding, even when I travel. What sets Miranda apart is that she looks at all of it. Your labs, your history, your life, what's realistic for you. She wants to understand what's actually happening for you before she recommends anything.
I only wish I'd found her years ago. I think about where I might be now if I had! It's a process, and I'm grateful for every bit of progress. Hands down one of the best investments I've made.”
“Miranda's approach is deeply embedded in the hard science behind our gut and it's connection to health (both mental and physical health). If you want to improve your overall well-being and get out of the vicious and harmful cycle of dieting.....and actually do your body and mind good....then you need Miranda in your life. Her guide is your bloodwork.....it's a deeper level of work that I didn't know was even possible. Thank you Miranda for shifting my mindset away from just calories and towards improved well being!”
“I was struggling with energy levels, and still not feeling great a lot of the time. I'd done a lot of healing and tried other things, but this was still lingering. I was frustrated and sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. Miranda has helped me find answers, use natural ways to heal the issues and got me going in a great direction health wise. I now can actually engage in the physical activities I love and not be worried that I'll feel miserable for days afterwards. I feel better than I have in years and I now know how to support my body so it can support me. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't found her. If you're sick of the results coming back "normal" but something is obviously wrong, she's the one for you.”
“Miranda has been such an incredible factor in my health over the past two years! She helped me discover the best supplements and meal plans for my body to heal. When I started with her, I was super hyper-thyroid and had significant thyroid eye disease symptoms. I am currently off of all thyroid medication & my thyroid eye disease is virtually gone... which does not tend to happen. I know what my body can and can't have now, and I could not have done this without Miranda's expertise and attention to detail in my health plan. She customizes her approach to meet the needs of her clients, versus the one-size-fits all approach that tends to happen through my health care. Very, very happy that I found her!"
“I can't say enough good things about Miranda. Before joining, I had been dealing with health issues that never seemed to have clear answers. One of the biggest breakthroughs was discovering that I had celiac disease—even though I didn't have the classic symptoms that most people associate with it. Without the thorough testing, detailed analysis, and personalized approach of this program, I likely would have gone much longer without a diagnosis. The support and guidance I received helped me not only identify the root cause of my health challenges but also create a plan that truly worked for me. As I followed the recommendations, I started seeing improvements that exceeded my original goals. My energy, overall well-being, and quality of life improved in ways I honestly didn't think were possible. What stood out most was how comprehensive and individualized the care was. I felt heard, supported, and empowered throughout the entire process. This program helped me achieve the goals I came in with—and then some. I'm incredibly grateful for the positive impact it has had on my health and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for answers and a deeper understanding of their health."
“Miranda is amazing! She has years of experience working with people across the board, from folks who are just looking to feel better in their daily life to those with conditions that require unique support. Miranda has varied expertise, so she works with you to develop a plan including not just nutrition but also exercise and other lifestyle habits. She's very intuitive about how best to support her clients based on their needs, whether people need to start with baby steps or jump right in. Also, as someone who loves nerding out, I learn so much from her in our sessions about things like how metabolism works and how stress affects the body. 10/10 recommend!"
Gut-brain health is the connection between your digestive system, nervous system, mood, focus, energy, and overall mental clarity.
Your gut and brain are constantly communicating. When digestion, nutrient absorption, inflammation, blood sugar, hormones, or stress patterns are out of balance, you may feel it as brain fog, anxiety, low motivation, mood swings, fatigue, or trouble focusing.
I look at the whole picture so your symptoms are not treated like separate problems. They are viewed as connected signals from your body.
Your brain needs steady fuel to function well, and blood sugar plays a major role in how steady that fuel feels throughout the day. When blood sugar spikes and crashes, your brain can interpret that shift as stress. That can leave you feeling scattered, anxious, exhausted, foggy, or unable to follow through the way you normally would.
Your gut also plays a key role in the gut-brain connection. It helps absorb the nutrients your brain depends on and communicates with your nervous system through chemical signals, inflammation pathways, and neurotransmitter-related processes.
That’s why I look at the whole picture, not just your symptoms, but the systems underneath them. When your gut, blood sugar, hormones, brain health, and nervous system are better supported, it becomes easier to understand what your body has been trying to tell you.
Yes. Many women who I work with have ADHD, suspect they have ADHD, or describe themselves as “ADHD-ish.”
They are often smart, driven, sensitive, high-achieving women who feel like they should be able to figure this out, but their energy, focus, mood, digestion, hormones, or nervous system keep getting in the way.
This work does not replace ADHD diagnosis, therapy, or medical treatment. Instead, it helps you understand how your body may be influencing your brain and how nutrition, blood sugar, gut health, hormones, and lifestyle patterns may be affecting your daily function.
You may be dealing with fatigue, brain fog, bloating, anxiety, or blood sugar crashes, and still be told your labs look “normal.”
Part of the problem is how lab ranges are created. Most standard ranges are built from test results across a large group of people. “Normal” usually reflects where the middle 95% of those results fall. That group isn’t necessarily healthy. Many were tested because something already felt off. So “normal” means your result looks like most people tested. It doesn’t mean that number is where your body functions best.
Conventional ranges are also designed to flag disease states, not the earlier shifts that often show up as symptoms first. I look at your results through a functional lens, using narrower optimal ranges alongside your symptoms, history, and lifestyle to identify patterns. The goal is not just to tell you whether something is “in range.” The goal is to understand what your body may be asking for and where support is needed.
This is not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
I do not believe in throwing a long list of supplements at your symptoms and hoping something works. Instead, I use a personalized, root-cause approach that considers your gut, brain, hormones, blood sugar, nervous system, lifestyle, capacity, and real life.
The goal is to simplify the process, not overwhelm you with more things to do.
Supplements may be used when they are appropriate, but they are not the whole plan. Real healing requires understanding the pattern, building the foundation, and creating changes that are sustainable.
Yes, perimenopause can absolutely affect the way your brain feels and functions.
Many women notice more brain fog, forgetfulness, word-finding issues, low motivation, mood changes, poor sleep, anxiety, or trouble focusing during this season. And because these symptoms can overlap with ADHD, burnout, blood sugar instability, gut issues, and stress, it can be hard to know what is actually driving what.
That is why I do not look at hormones in isolation.
I look at how your hormones, brain, gut, blood sugar, nervous system, sleep, stress, and lifestyle are all working together so we can better understand why you feel foggy, scattered, or unlike yourself and what kind of support your body may need.
Not always, but functional lab testing can be a powerful tool when you are tired of guessing.
Testing can help uncover patterns related to gut health, nutrient status, hormones, blood sugar, inflammation, stress response, and other factors that may be contributing to how you feel.
I use lab testing alongside your symptoms, history, and lifestyle. The labs do not replace your story, they help clarify it.
If you have been trying to piece things together on your own, testing can give you a clearer starting point and a more personalized plan.
This work supports the physical systems that influence mental health, but it is not a replacement for therapy, psychiatry, or medical care.
My approach bridges the gap between physical and mental health by looking at how your gut, brain, blood sugar, hormones, nutrient status, and nervous system may be affecting your mood, focus, energy, and emotional regulation.
You are not expected to choose between caring for your body and caring for your mind. They are connected.
In the Discover phase, I get to know your story. This includes your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, goals, patterns, and what you have already tried.
In the Connect phase, I help identify the missing pieces. This may include functional lab testing, nutrition analysis, gut-brain support, blood sugar balance, hormone patterns, nervous system awareness, and lifestyle strategy.
In the Thrive phase, you move forward with a personalized roadmap that helps you restore energy, improve focus, support your gut and brain, and build sustainable habits that fit your real life.
The goal is not to make you dependent on me forever. The goal is to help you understand your body so you can care for it with more confidence.
Most women who come to me have already tried a lot.
They have listened to the podcasts, bought the supplements, changed their diet, tracked their symptoms, gone to appointments, and tried to do everything “right.” But without a clear strategy, more information can start to feel like more overwhelm.
I help you slow down, organize the data, identify what actually matters, and create a plan that is realistic for your body, your brain, and your capacity.
You do not need more noise. You need clarity.
You deserve to feel steady, clear, focused, and at home in your body.
You deserve to enjoy food without constantly wondering how your body will react.
You deserve to wake up rested and move through your day with more energy and less overwhelm.
You deserve support that sees the whole picture, not another generic plan.
You deserve to understand what is happening in your body and why.
Real healing starts when your symptoms finally begin to make sense.
Sometimes, it is not one single thing.
Many women come to me wondering whether their symptoms are ADHD, perimenopause, burnout, anxiety, hormone imbalance, gut issues, blood sugar swings, or just “getting older.”
The truth is, these patterns often overlap.
Hormonal shifts can affect focus, mood, sleep, motivation, and emotional regulation. Blood sugar instability can leave your brain feeling under-fueled. Gut issues can affect nutrient absorption and the gut-brain connection. Chronic stress can keep your nervous system in survival mode.
My role is to help you stop guessing and start connecting the dots.
Instead of asking, “What label explains everything?” we look at what your body is showing us, what your labs reveal, and what systems need support so you can feel clearer, steadier, and more like yourself again.
The first step is a conversation.
During your Clarity Call, we’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and where you’d like your health to go.
