This one-pan meal is a breeze to make, plus it’s free of all major allergens, and it’s Paleo/Whole 30 approved. It’s also packed with immune-boosting ginger & garlic!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground chicken or pork (or 50/50)
3 cloves of fresh garlic (minced)
2 TBSP ginger (fresh-grated or powdered)
1/4 cup coconut aminos
2 TBSP sesame oil
1/2 cup green onion (chopped)
1/2 cup water chestnuts (chopped)
1/2 cup shredded carrots
Organic romaine lettuce (washed and dried)
Directions:
Add 1 TBSP sesame oil to a pan over medium-high heat. Add meat and cook until browned
While meat cooks, whisk together garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, and remaining sesame oil. Add mixture and remaining ingredients to pan. Stir together and cook an additional 3-5 minutes.
Spoon into lettuce leaves and enjoy!
Optional: Whisk together an additional spoonful of coconut aminos, sesame oil, and garlic powder for dipping
